This is the Nihon Ki-in(日本棋院) "Shin nou yu gen"(深奥幽玄) by Mr.Yasunari Kawabata(川端康成) Fan *Off-spec.
Here is a fan of "Shin nou yu gen"(深奥幽玄) by Mr.Yasunari Kawabata(川端康成), a famous Japanese Nobel Prize-winning author who loved playing Go.
Both "shin nou"(深奥) and "yu gen"(幽玄) mean "deep and unfathomable," but "shin ou" has the nuance of being immeasurable in terms of a place, such as a deep place, and "yu gen" has the nuance of being unfathomable, which is felt in words through expressions such as taste and philosophical principles.

He wrote this calligraphy to commemorate the completion of the Nihon Ki-in Kaikan in 1971.
He passed away three months after writing the calligraphy, however the calligraphy, which is his last writing, is now hanging on a scroll in the "Yugen no Ma" of the Nihon Ki-in's special Go game room, quietly watching over the many famous games.

It is recommended as a prize for a Go tournament or for daily use.
There is a thin line of color stains on the surface.
Please check in the photo images.

This product is recommended as a gift, collection, and of course, can be used in Go games and matches.
