Fuji Koma no Kai is a shogi piece craftsmen's association led by the master craftsman Fugetsu and based in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The association is dedicated to training and nurturing the next generation of shogi piece craftsmen.

This master craftsman is renowned for the delicate, flowing signature and calligraphy engraved on the reverse side of the King (Gyokushō and Ōshō) pieces, as well as the beautifully rounded and elegant raised lacquer lettering that showcases exceptional craftsmanship.

Shogi pieces crafted by Fugetsu are favored by many professional shogi players and have been used in numerous major title matches, including the Meijin Championship and other prestigious title competitions.

Shogetsu is a shogi piece craftsman who trained under the renowned master craftsman Fugetsu, one of Japan's five most distinguished contemporary shogi piece artisans. Building on the exceptional carving skills developed through crafting traditional nameplates, Shogetsu continues to refine his artistry as a master engraver of shogi pieces. As the number of pieces he has created continues to grow, his work has gained increasing recognition and popularity among shogi enthusiasts.
