I always wanted a top quality Go board since my youth. I came across Kurokigoishiten by chance. The communication was great to answer my inquiries. When I got the Kenichi Kumasu made board, it looks absolutely amazing! The quality is impeccable, and the old Yakusugi texture, smell, density makes me want to touch it over and over again. The lining is incredibly done with precision and I can feel the aliveness of the craftsmanship. The board looks much nicer than you would expect from the pictures. Can't wait to play Go on it.

Beautiful camphor Go bowls! The craftsmanship is amazing! Obviously done by someone honed in their craft. The finish is like glass; the smell is wonderful too. My size 28 slate and shell stones obviously fit excellent with room to spare. I had to search for the "scratch" indicated on the listing. Packaging was excellent and even wrapped in nice printed paper. Great customer service too! Walked me through how to best deal with current tariff nonsense to get cheapest shipping. Shipped quickly and now my nice Moon Grade stones have a beautiful home going forward! This listing allowed me to get a beautiful set of bowls at a price I could afford.
