This is "Hon Kaya Pressure Points Wood (FeeFee)" made by Handmade Kaya Crafthop【Kaya-no-Mori】.

This is a portable objet d'art named FēeFēe, created by Hida sculptor Tashima Nen.
The beautiful bark of Kaya tree, called the jewel of the mountains, and the lovely teardrop shape of the tree give it a warm, natural look and feel.
The warm texture of nature creates a soft atmosphere in your room or on your desk.
The gentle curves and smooth texture are comfortable and help you refresh yourself during your busy schedule.
The shape of the tip is perfect for pressing pressure points, and its use is up to your ideas.

Mr. Tashima Nen is a sculptor and woodworker.
He creates furniture such as tables and chairs, as well as sculptures and art works using various types of wood.花 His father is Mr. Seizo Tashima, a picture book artist who spent his childhood in Kochi Prefecture, and they have held exhibitions together.

The product is moderately thick and feels very comfortable in the hand.
As an easily portable pressure point remover, it is recommended for relaxation or during breaks at work.

"It's kind of calming."
Have you ever felt "somehow at home" when looking at or touching wood?
Wood looks and feels warm to the touch.
Wood also has a characteristic "smooth and silky" feel, which easily leads to feelings of comfort.
Recent studies have shown that wood can calm brain waves, improve concentration, stabilize blood pressure, and relax the body.
Kaya wood is not well-known to the general public, but its unique aroma, beautiful grain, and glossy light yellow color make it an excellent material for Go boards and Shogi boards, and it has long been prized by Go and Shogi enthusiasts as a top quality product.
It is also suitable for products in the kitchen area because of its resistance to water and moisture, which is why it was used as a material for ships in the past, and because of its natural bactericidal properties.
The wood is extremely durable, and there is an old saying that goes, "Maki ten thousand years, Kaya unlimited".
The wood will become more and more beautiful as it ages, and the more you use it, the more you will love it.

It is best known as the highest quality Go board and Shogi board, with some of the most expensive ones costing several million to over 10 million yen per side.
Kaya trees grow extremely slowly, requiring 3-4 years to reach 30 cm in length and more than 300 years to reach a diameter of 1.1 m, which is suitable for making a Go board.

"Beautiful, fine-grained wood surface."
Close grain patterns are very fine and smooth. The grain of the wood is very fine and smooth, and the color and grain show up beautifully, giving the wood a refined natural beauty and comfort.

"The color and luster will develop over time."
The rich oil content of this material keeps it from losing its color and luster, and as it is used more and more, it turns into a candy color. It does not just grow old, but rather gains in depth and flavor over time.

"Extremely durable."
"Maki ten thousand years, Kaya unlimited." as the saying goes, it is extremely durable.
It was once used for house foundations, bath tubs, and boats.

"Soothing aroma."
Kaya has a unique and elegant aroma that is subtle, as we have received comments that "it smells like cinnamon and is very soothing".
Kaya nuts also has a fresh citrusy aroma like yuzu or lemon.
