Go Board：Hyuga-kaya Table Go Board Masame 1.9-Sun (about 59mm thick) 3-piece composition board No.76931
This Go board is made from Hyuga Kaya wood, that is quite hard to get as material wood for Go board. That is the highest quality material wood to make Go board. The value is increasing as the wood will be rarer in the near future. The lines of a board are marked using "Tachi-mori", the skill of drawing lines using a Japanese sword. This traditional technique highlights the beauty of natural grain patterns and the texture of lacquered line is smooth and has also a nice feeling.
Tiny color stain can be seen at the top.
The top, the side and the bottom have several intergrown knots.

Clamshell Go stones are manufactured by Go stones craftsmen one by one through more than 20 manufacturing processes. It takes about 2 to 6 months from the Clamshell to the product.

Each Go stone manufactured by our store has a numbering that appears when illuminated by a black light.
The numbering is a proof of “Kurokigoishiten” and a proof of quality control and assurance.
Quality: The highest quality with almost no scratches that has cleared strict selection standards.
Grade (striped pattern): The spacing between the stripes is a little coarser than "Snow grade", which is about 70% or less of the total.
