Go stones : Clamshell Go Stones Premium Blossom grade size 38
Clamshell Go stones are white Go stones made from clam shells.
Size 38 Go stones (approximately 10.7mm thick) offer an exceptional playing experience, combining impressive thickness, weight, and a luxurious feel.
These stones allow you to fully enjoy the unique texture and sound of high-quality Clamshell Go stones.
*Please check the thickness sample image.
Each Clamshell Go stones are made by hand by Go stones craftsmen through more than 20 manufacturing processes.
It takes approximately 2 to 6 months from the clam shell to the finished product.
We hope you will experience the skill of Go stones making that has been passed down from generation to generation for more than 100 years, and the brilliance of the Go stones carved by traditional Go stone making craftsmen.
Quality : The highest quality with almost no scratches that has cleared strict selection standards.
Grade (striped pattern) : The spacing between the stripes is a little coarser than "Snow grade", which is about 70% or less of the total.
* Please check the striped sample image.
* "Nachiguro" slate black Go stones are also included.
*Clamshell white Go stones are made from Mexican clamshells.
*Our Nachi-guro black Go stones are manufactured to be 0.3mm thicker and 0.3mm larger in diameter than the white Go stones of the same size.
The reason for this is that white is a visually expanding color.
When white and black stones have the exact same diameter and thickness, black Go stones tend to appear slightly smaller to the human eyes.
To ensure that both Go stones look about the same size on the board, we make this slight adjustment.

Go bowls : Traditional Craftsman Mr. Takashi NISHIKAWA made "Honkuwa [Mountain mulberry]" Go Bowls
These Go bowls are made from Honkuwa [Mountain mulberry], that is very popular and highest quality material to make Go bowls.
A written certificate of his artwork is enclosed in a box.
With a branding iron seal that proves that this is the artwork of Mr. Takashi NISHIKAWA (Registration No. 115).
There are wood-derived stains and multiple intergrown knots throughout.

This can hold up to size 40 Go stones.
Includes a Nishijin-ori Go bowl bag.

Go board : Go board craftsman Mr. Keiji MIWA made Japan grown Hon kaya 2.0-Sun (62mm thick) Kiura 1-piece Table Go Board No.78041
Famous board craftsman Mr. Keiji MIWA made Japan grown Hon-kaya 2.0-Sun Kiura 1-piece Table Go Board.
It is engraved with a proof "Keiho" manufactured by Keiji MIWA.
The lines of a board are marked using "Tachi-mori", the skill of drawing lines using a Japanese sword.
This traditional technique highlights the beauty of natural grain patterns and the texture of lacquered line is smooth and has also a nice feeling.
This board is Kiura, a popular thick size board with around 2-Sun (about 55-75mm) thickness and beautiful wood grains run through top to bottom.
The wood color and wood grains are both wonderful, and it is a gem that you can fully enjoy the aroma and touch of Hon-Kaya.
This board is Kiura, so the board grain appears on the top surface.
The top and the bottom have a few intergrown knots.
Color stains of wood origin can be sen at one side.
