The top surface of these coasters have tachi-mori lines made of Japanese genuine lacquer.
The works of Mr. YOSHIDA feature very thin markings lines, that create elegance and beauty.

The sides and bottom except for the top surface are finished with urethane paint that complies with the Food Sanitation Law.
The top surface, like the Go board and Shogi board, is not coated with wax or other coating, so please wipe off any water droplets or beverages that may adhere to it.
*Water droplets and beverage stains may remain.

Precautions
*For cleaning, wipe gently with a dry cloth.
*If stains are bothering you, wipe with a tightly wrung cloth or wash gently with a soft sponge moistened with a small amount of dishwashing detergent and dry naturally.
*Please be careful not to scrub too hard, as it may chip or peel off the "Tachi-mori lines".
*Do not use a dishwasher.

"Yoshida Gobanten（吉田碁盤店）" was established in 1916 and continuously made various Go and Shogi boards for more than 100years.
The owner takes over the name of 'Master Yoshida Torayoshi' for generations.
