These Go bowls have a deep reddish-brown hue with stunning tiger-stripe patterns.
Crafted from a very rare wood, they are exceptionally hard to come by.

The wood shows some natural stain-like markings, and one lid has a natural dark spot and a small mark that appears to be from the material itself.


“Nikkei” (also known as Nikkei or Nikki) is another name for Cinnamomum japonicum, an evergreen tree in the laurel family.
Its bark and root have a distinctive sweet, spicy aroma and are used as a spice.
Although its scent is similar to cinnamon and sometimes confused with it, it is actually a different material.

The wood is used for items such as utensils, furniture, interior fittings, carvings, and even firewood and charcoal.
It has a solid, weighty feel and a smooth texture.
