Shogi Pieces stand for 2-sun (about 6cm-thick) Table Shogi Board , "Hyuga-Kaya" wood made

It is very beautiful gem with gentle grain patterns and light color, that is specific to Hyuga Kaya wood.
This stand, designed specifically for 2-sun (about 6cm-thick) board, is about 5mm lower than the board level.

There are some scratches and "Shirata" (White color) part.

The "Shirata" is the part of the wood that is white compared to the color of the core, known as the white bark, sapwood, or white lumber.
It is still a new layer because it is the part near the epidermis of the tree.
The white log portion is not particularly inferior in quality.
