This Board is China grown Hon Kaya made Tenchi-masa* Go board with legs (7.1-sun/21.5 cm thick) *Off-spec.

The lines of a board are marked using Tachi-mori, the skill of drawing lines using a Japanese sword. This traditional technique highlights the beauty of natural grain patterns and the texture of lacquered line is smooth and has also a nice feeling.

This board's Kidori (Cutting Style of Wood) is "Tenchi-masa*". Tenchi-masa* is made of very high grade cutting style and beautiful wood grain.

With a majestic thickness of 7.1 sun (about 215mm thick), this Go board with legs has a solid and luxurious feel.
Since it is a Tenchi-masa* board, the straight grain runs through from the top to the bottom, and the wood grain on the top as well as the end and sides are very beautiful.

At the bottom of both cutting side, there is a white stain derived from wood.
This board has a closed crack on one side.
There is no problem at all for normal use.
