There is a crack remained at the bottom.
There are several intergrown-knots at the top, the side and the bottom.
There is a small flaw or scratch at the side and the bottom.
Shirata can be seen at the both bottom.
This stand, designed specifically for 2-Sun (about 6cm-thick) board, is about 5mm lower than the board level.

The "Shirata" is the part of the wood that is white compared to the color of the core, known as the white bark, sapwood, or white lumber.
It is still a new layer because it is the part near the epidermis of the tree.
The white log portion is not particularly inferior in quality.
