Calligrapher Mr. Satoshi Iwao created by copying of sutras the "心経 (Heart Sutra)"

This is a work by Satoshi Iwao, a calligrapher who lives in Miyazaki City and continues to expand and pursue the possibilities of "calligraphy" without being confined to "writing on Japanese paper with ink and brush".

This work is on a paper panel, he has copying of sutras the "般若心経 (Heart Sutra)" with his heart, letter by letter, in the hope of world peace.

In creating this work, Mr. Iwao said, "The war between Russia and Ukraine has caused fear and anxiety in the world, which has further affected the hearts of people who are exhausted by the coronal disaster.
I wished for peace to be protected under the sky with the thought that we are all family under the sky.
I hope that peace will be kept under the sky with everyone as a family," he said.
