The wood is made from Kaya trees that are more than 200 years old and naturally dried for more than 15 years.
The kaya tree has high anti-bacterial properties, and its yellowish wood surface is warm and inviting.
The corners of the wood blocks are hand-cut to be gentle on the hands and safe to play with.
The high pitched sound that the child makes when tapping and stacking the blocks is also a Kaya wood sound.
