Currently, the raw material for Clamshell Go stones are Mexican Clamshells, but at least a few hundred shells with a thickness of 15 mm or more are required to produce Go stones with a thickness of approximately 14.3 mm.
However, such thick shells are rarely found, so we usually do not have them in stock.
This time, we are selling only 1set of such rare Size 50 Go stones, though they are repaired Go stones.
This is a chance to get a “Monster” thickness Go stone, size 50.

What is "Clamshell Go Stones Blue label" ?
"Clamshell Go stones" are white Go stone made from clamshells.
Clamshell Go stones are manufactured by Go stones craftsmen one by one through more than 20 manufacturing processes.
It takes about 2 to 6 months from the Clamshell materials to the product.
Please experience the brilliance of Go stones carved by traditional Go stones craftsmen, the techniques of making Go stones that have been handed down for over 100 years.

Quality: Quasi-Premium Grade (Shape, color and scratch etc.)
Grade (striped pattern):The spacing between the stripes is a little coarser than "Snow grade", which is about 70% or less of the total.

Thanks to our craftsmen's repair work on our new and old stocks, as well as second-hand goods, these items seem to be completely reborn and look like "New" products.
After polishing, Go stones recover a shine which makes them look just like new.
