The "Ichi-jo-saku (一如 作）" written on bottom of board means "made with Ichi-jo spirit" is the proof of his work.
The lines of a board are marked using Tachi-mori, the skill of drawing lines using a Japanese sword.
This traditional technique highlights the beauty of natural grain patterns and the texture of lacquered line is smooth and has also a nice feeling.
The works of Mr. Torayoshi YOSHIDA feature very thin markings lines, that create elegance and beauty.

Clamshell Go stones are manufactured by Go stones craftsmen one by one through more than 20 manufacturing processes.
It takes about 2 to 6 months from the Clamshell to the product.
Please experience the brilliance of Go stones carved by traditional Go stones craftsmen, the techniques of making Go stones that have been handed down for over 100 years.
Clamshell Go Stones BLUE Label Snow grade have some scratches and a light color derived from the raw material, but are of a semi-qualified level of quality that is judged to be fine for a Go stone.
Snow grade is a title that can only be given to Go stones with stripes that are more than 80% straight.
The "Clamshell Go Stones Premium Snow grade" is the highest quality Go stone with almost no flaws and more than 80% straight stripes.
