Shogi pieces
This is Siam-tsuge piece, relatively reasonable-priced one.
Piece is Jo-bori (High carved) letters, that are clearly carved without being simplified.
The order of complexity is as follows. The simplest one is Black carved, then Usually carved, Middle carved, High carved, and the most complicated one is Super high carved. Generally speaking, the more strokes a carving style has, the higher the grade is.
High carved letters so-called "Jo-bori" are popular especially among children and beginners as the letters are easy to read and less simplified.
These pieces are machine carved pieces.

Shogi board
This Shogi board is Shin Kaya [spruce] wood Table Shogi Board Size10 (about 30mm thick).
This board is a full-fledged Shogi board that is heavier than a folded board and offers a much better playing experience.
The image is a sample. Since the board is made of natural materials, the color, texture, grain, etc. may vary from piece to piece.
The board comes with Kaya wood piece stands.
