Japan grown Kaya Wood is considered to be the highest quality board material, but it is becoming more and more difficult to find domestic Kaya wood and is expected to become more and more rare.
The lines of a board are marked using Tachi-mori, the skill of drawing lines using a Japanese sword.

Clamshell Go stones are manufactured by Go stones craftsmen one by one through more than 20 manufacturing processes.
It takes about 2 to 6 months from the Clamshell materials to the product.
Please experience the brilliance of Go stones carved by traditional Go stones craftsmen, the techniques of making Go stones that have been handed down for over 100 years.
Our BLUE LABEL stones are offered at an affordable price to give more players the opportunity to access and use Go stones made of real clamshells.
Their specification is nearly equal to our two highest grades stones “Carefully-selected Snow/Blossom Grade”.

Shogi pieces：White camellia, High carved
Shiro-Tsubaki Shogi pieces are made from white birch and contained in paulownia piece boxes.
Its color is whitish and lighter than Tsuge (boxwood) piece.
The price is more reasonable and very popular among many users although the feeling in placing a piece is a bit lighter than Tsuge piece.
High carved letters so-called "Jo-bori" are popular especially among children and beginners as the letters are easy to read and less simplified.
