This is a flower stand crafted from an exceptionally rare oily burl of Yakusugi wood.
Includes a custom-made box crafted from Yakusugi wood.

This piece was crafted using only specially selected, premium-quality oily burl wood.
It is an exceptionally rare and valuable work, extremely difficult to reproduce with the same level of material and craftsmanship.

This flower stand showcases the artist’s highest level of craftsmanship, particularly in the intricately hollowed-out top and the precise angles where the curved legs of the base are joined.
While the stand itself is stunning on its own, it is further enhanced when paired with a beautifully arranged flower vase or decorative vessel.
It can also be used as a stand for an incense burner.

Yakusugi (cedar wood) made Shogi pieces stand is beautiful and graceful with their intricate and elaborate grain patterns that there are serious "Yakusugi collectors" all over the world.
Since Yakushima Island has been registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, logging has been prohibited and the quantity of Yakusugi trees on the market is quite limited, making them extremely difficult to obtain.
The color of Yakusugi (cedar) wood is reddish-brown. It is a very beautiful wood with its unique aroma and intricate grain patterns.
Please note that the tree oil or fat may start to seep as time goes by as the wood contains a lot of oil and fat.
