Go bowls : Keyaki [zelkova] miniature Go bowls
Keyaki [zelkova] Go Bowls is famous for its beautiful grain patterns and gloss color.
The Keyaki [zelkova] wood is light yellowish-brown or reddish-brown in color, and has a triumvirate of beauty of grain, strength, and decay resistance.
*The standard size for 19*19-ro Go bowls is 180 white Go stones and 181 black Go stones, but for 13*13-ro Go bowls are slightly smaller, holding 84 white Go stones and 85 black Go stones.

The 13/9-ro board is quite thick and stable, as it is 2/3 scale of standard-sized board with 19*19-ro.
One side can be used as 13*13-ro and the other side can be used as 9*9-ro, so you can play 2 sides.

The lines of a board are marked using "Tachi-mori", the skill of drawing lines using a Japanese sword.
This traditional technique highlights the beauty of natural grain patterns and the texture of lacquered line is smooth and has also a nice feeling.
The board is Itame, so Itame patterns are visible on part of the playing surface. This is a natural characteristic of the wood and forms part of the top surface.

The cuttinf side has a tiny hole.
The cutting side has an intergrown knot.
